I decided to make a couple cute, small, reusable lunch sacs for my girls. It satisfies my youngest’s need for “special” and my olders’ need for something compact that can easily fold and store in her backpack.
This reusable lunch sac is so sew easy, and fast. Anyone can make this, including your child!
Waste hurts my heart. Disposable equals more money and more waste so I’m not a fan. So if you’re like me, then these beeswax food wraps are right up your alley. AND the homemade beeswax wraps are far superior to the store bought. 
First select your favorite 100% cotton fabric. You can use quilters cotton or just a cotton shirt or (in my case) a dress, that would otherwise be destined for the donate pile or trash. It’s important that the fabric is 100% cotton. Don’t use anything synthetic or it could burn and/or melt. I bought a Tulip style table base at an auction years ago for $5. Like many of my project ideas, it sat in my garage until I could figure out how to make or get a table top. I absolutely wanted the table to be thin, or at least appear to be very thin, like the OG Saarinen tables.

This is my second swinging bed in this location. My first swinging bed/floating bed I made years ago with used, leftover deck lumber. You can see it <HERE>. It was everyones favorite place to nap and the most popular place to be at family gatherings. On Thanksgiving the swinging bed had a full book.
I had to take it down when our roof was replaced, so it got trashed. Then it was replaced by a used ping pong table.

The most wonderful time of the year…It’s One Room Challenge time! I look forward to each of the participants spectacular rooms every season! So, this season I decided to jump on the bandwagon for the second time.
If your not familiar with the One Room Challenge, it’s a bi-annual event where 20 featured designers/bloggers design a room in six weeks time.
