Twelve Days of Christmas Crafts, Day 6 – a lampshade wreath. This project is definitely the easiest of all the Twelve Days of Christmas Crafts so far.
I’ve held onto this busted up lampshade for too long knowing that I’d repurpose it one day. That day has finally come, I transformed one of the metal loops into a Christmas wreath.
I stripped the shade down to the metal hoops.
Spray painted it with my favorite brand of gold spray paint.
Trimmed some evergreens from my front yard. This is a Norfolk pine.
I Gathered up a few supplies…small zip ties, floral clippers, greenery, ribbon, and the metal lamp ring. Floral wire would work in place of the zip ties, but the zip ties keep everything very secure.
I created a time-lapse video of how I put together my greenery. I used the zip ties to layer on the greens, then the berries and then I used a glue dot to adhere my red bow.

I hung the wreath on top of my foyer mirror. I already had a picture hanger above the mirror from my Thanksgiving garland so I attached floral wire to my Christmas wreath and hung it from the same picture hanger.
Super easy and affordable wreath. Hopefully it’ll stay fresh until Christmas. I’ll let you know.
Thanks for stopping by.
